Preview of a new project

So, I'm currently workin' on a couple of projects. One of them is a large order of horse scoodies and the other is a fun and easy project that my brother has asked me to take on.

Here are a couple of pictures of the first part. Can you guess what it might become? (Plus, I learned a couple of new stitches that make up the bottom four rows of the beanie. Front and back post double crochet stitches.) Pretty neat, huh?

When I finish the project, I'll give y'all the link to the pattern that I'm using to make this. Totally glad I can finally do one of these!

Horse Scoodie - Finished!

So, in my last post, I mentioned how I was creating a special scoodie for one of my friends. Well, I finished it finally. Below is the almost finished product with my husband sporting it like the dork he is. It doesn't have the ears, so it looks a little weird. I love the mohawk look of the mane, though it took  me a while to figure out how to do it. I had to improvise off this pattern: Semi-homemade mohawk beanie cap. Not too terrible, though I still need to work out a few kinks. (Actually, my husband brushed the mane out for me. He's better at that kind of stuff)

Those neigh-sayers ain't got nothing on me!
And finally, here are a few images of what the actual scoodie looks like. (I found this fantastic collage maker to help me put them all together on my various sites so I didn't have to try and upload three different angles of the same thing. I like it much better than three separate uploads.)
