New project for me!

I haven't made anything for myself in a while (not counting the coin purse), and it's cold outside, so I decided to make my own ear warmer. Of course, it's camo with a baby pink edging, but it'll match everything I'll be wearing down here in Texas! (I will update this post when I have finished the headband, so no worries!)

\School has started, and I'm taking the fewest classes I have taken in the last four and a half years there. Only 9 hours, but I'm trying hard to raise my GPA to a 2.5 and I'm getting close! Hopefully with three As this semester, I can pull it off. Wish me luck!

Little Lady Bug

So, remember how I said I made a diaper cover and matching beanie? Well, here is one of the sets, a little lady bug set. It's so adorable. I made it for Tabitha Zimmer's new little girl, Ariella Rose. She's so cute, so she needs a cute little cover and beanie to match, right?

New Pattern

So, the other day while I was browsing deviantArt, I found a picture of a couple of cute coin purses. I asked the creator of the purses if I could get the pattern (which she made herself), and I created one myself.
It's a cute little camo coin purse with light pink edging, and a REAL deer antler button! It's so adorable and I love it so much. It works really well, and it fits in my purse quite neatly. I sort of want to make tons more, but I'll hold off until I get some more orders for them.

I also got a recent order to make a beanie for a new born. So cute! Oh, and I've been working on some diaper covers and matching beanies, which I'll get pictures and post them soon.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

It got off to a fantastic start. Finished my Christmas orders, as seen below (there is a white and maroon beanie and scarf to match the headband, but I didn’t get pictures of it). They went to two great kids in school, and their colors match almost perfectly. (No, the white and maroon isn’t A&M).

Other than that, I’ve been working on that silly Mexicana blanket still. I need to finish it since my orders are finished now and I have time to work on it. I also need to crochet a couple of baby sets for two family members who just had kids in the last month. So much to do!

 

I even got a book on the “knook” for Christmas, and I can’t wait to try it out. Of course, I need to figure out how to knit with a crochet hook and string. I’m excited, since it is something new to learn.
